Seven reasons why I left Canada in 2026 and what I did to find a better quality of life. Canada, which was such an amazing country with an amazing reputation, hockey as our sport, knowing our neighbors, and had some of the best reputations internationally as the nicest people in the world. But since
2020, Canada has declined and the country that was literally in 2015 with the highest income middle class has declined on every single metric and what has happened and what has caused Canadians wanting to leave. Well, the first one is the cost of living. The cost of living has gotten so out of
control in Canada. We're talking about here in 2026, a liter of diesel is now $3 and we produce this stuff, which is so bloody crazy. Not only that, rent has skyrocketed. Meats, a price for a steak, a package of steak can go up to $100 or more and the worst part is our income is our wages are not going up at the same
price as all the inflation that's going on and it's causing a lot of strain and it what it does when you have a high cost of living and your wages don't follow, you get hopelessness. Like there's no hope where you can say, "Hey, I'm going to go strive towards something better."
because when you look at what you make and the best you can do is own a studio and then move up to a one-bedroom house, it doesn't inspire a lot of reason to work hard. And that's what is happening.
There's people that just don't want to work because it is actually more profitable to get a government paycheck than it is to work for minimum wage. So this cost of living has done so many things to Canadians. I was one of them.
I was making 15 grand a month doing my window washing business. And at the end of the day, when I did all my numbers, I was left with a fiddly couple of grand.
And for the amount of time I was working, it just didn't make sense to continue this because I literally had no life. All I did was work, and that was So, these are some of those discouraging things when you have high cost of living. And it's just causing a lot of Canadians thinking, "Hey, I think I can
have a better life somewhere else and make more money." Now, the second reason why someone might want to leave Canada is the family.
Now, as a single male in Canada who accumulated some sort of wealth, there is just so much risk dating and starting a family with a Canadian woman just because the data says there's a good chance you're going to get a divorce. And the thing is, I worked in the oil patch. I worked with these guys, and they worked
their ass off. 400-hour work months. They built this life, and they had a girlfriend, and she worked as a waitress part-time, and she cheated. And not only did she get 80% of the house and the wealth and alimony, she also got the kids and then poured poison in the ear and saying that the dad was a deadbeat
for building this incredible life. And I saw this time in and time again. And it was one of those like very, very, you know, discouraging things that I witnessed that really, really put me on the defense with Canadian women. Now, another thing about Canada and families is it has literally destroyed the nuclear
